Location
Our Medical Trainings take place in three unique natural environments: the secluded Otro Valley, the welcoming mountain hamlet of Alpe Selvaccia, and the wild, untouched Val Grande. Each setting offers a different atmosphere for learning, reflection, and professional renewal.
Trainings 1.0 and 2.0 take place in the quiet, car-free Otro Valley, where participants stay in traditional, characteristic mountain huts that offer simplicity and focus. Training 3.0 is held at Alpe Selvaccia, a comfortable and small-scale base ideal for group work and practical sessions, also with fixed accommodation. For training 4.0 we move to the Val Grande, where we complete a multiday trekking through one of Europe’s largest wilderness areas. Each setting supports concentrated learning, professional exchange, and a grounded connection with nature.

Activities
Activities range from structured presentations, clinical dialogue, and guided reflection in Care 1.0 and 2.0 to more experiential, nature-based sessions in Care 3.0 and 4.0. Each module combines professional learning with time outdoors, practical exercises, and shared moments that support insight, connection, and renewal.
We offer a balance between the outdoor activities of the Italian Alps and focused training sessions. Depending on the module, participants take part in cold-water training, yoga, guided hikes, and reflective moments around the campfire. Care 3.0 also includes a sweat lodge ceremony, and all modules offer an optional visit to the Albagnano Meditation Healing Centre. Evenings feature informal group moments such as a Bonte Avond or pizza night, which help build connection and openness within the group. These elements complement the clinical content by supporting wellbeing, clarity, and meaningful exchange.
