Your journey begins in Rassa, a timeless alpine village. Step by step you leave the world behind, walking mountain trails to Alpe Selvaccia, your basecamp in the Italian Alps - where meadows, endless views, and starlit nights welcome you as home.
Alpe Selvaccia is our home base: four rustic mountain huts rest on 22 hectares of meadow and pine, with a fire circle, a tipi, and a yoga platform overlooking the Monte Rosa. Evenings gather around the flames; mornings open with silence and fresh mountain air. Our local hosts welcome you with authentic Italian warmth — with honest meals, guiding you along mountain trails, and sharing the rhythms of the valley. Here, comfort is found not in luxury, but in simplicity: wood, water, fire, and sky. It’s a place where you arrive as a guest, yet leave as part of the OTRO family.
