Leaving behind home and habit, you enter a landscape where comfort falls away and nature takes over. Out in the wild there are no walls, no routines. Silence, cold, and firelight replace the familiar – and leadership is learned not through knowing, but through adapting to what the mountains bring.
The trail starts in the picturesque mountain village of Rassa Valsesia, where cobbled paths rise toward Alpe Selvaccia – a hidden mountain pasture only reached on foot or by donkey. Four rustic huts rest on meadows and pine, with a fire circle, a tipi, and a yoga deck facing the majestic Monte Rosa. Evenings gather by the flames, mornings open in silence. After settling in, you leave basecamp behind and head deeper into the wild – through rugged valleys, where authentic mountain huts, tarps, or starry skies become your shelter.

The expedition follows a rhythm of movement and stillness. Mornings open with breathwork, days unfold on the trail, and nights bring simple meals and circles of sharing. You rest in mountain huts or beneath stars and join in a sweat lodge. Digital devices are left behind so you can truly connect — to yourself, to others, and to the mountains. Every activity is both raw and real. Frameworks such as servant leadership and seven generation thinking give shape to reflection, while the wildness of the Alps strips life back to what truly matters.

The sweat lodge is a traditional purification ritual with roots in various Indigenous cultures of North America. Guided safely by an experienced facilitator, participants sit in a heated, dome-shaped structure to release tension, reflect, and reconnect through heat, steam, and intention. The ceremony symbolizes cleansing and renewal – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Participation is always optional; each person decides for themselves whether to take part and to what extent.
